Brief History
Shree Dasha Porwal Jain Samaj primarily resides in the southern part of Rajasthan, specifically in the following regions: –
1. Vagad region: Comprising mainly of Dungarpur, Banswara, and Sagwara districts in the southeastern region of Rajasthan, near the border with western India.
2. Mewar region : Salumbar, Udaipur, etc., the northern part of Vagad.
3. Malwa region: Salamgarh, Pratapgarh, Indore, Bhopal, Dewas, etc. south-east and east of Vagad.
4. Gujarat region: Settled in the district of Panchmahal -Dahod, Mora, Santarampur, etc, west and south of Vagad. According to a rough estimate, the total number of families in the community is 700 and the total population is estimated around 3000.
